Plot Overview
The pilot episode was the beginning, but Catevari shaped The Invisible Man into its form and context. Darien is given a keeper (to monitor his activities and keep him sane) and his first assignment: bring in Charlie Fogarty, a former catatonic whose lethal handshake is leaving a trail of bodies across California. But Darien soon finds that Fogarty was once an agent like himself, with a keeper and a life under scrutiny, and is merely taking the fight back to the bureaucrats who made him a monster. Darien is none too pleased to be seen by his supervisors as an experiment to catch an experiment. Perhaps Fawkes and Fogarty have more in common than the Agency thinks?

Trivia
The Show
- A Catevari is a person who, from a young age, has been fed a small amount of poison on a regular basis. As a result, the poison builds up in their systems, rendering them toxic. Catevari were perfected by the Romans.
- This episode marks a couple more firsts: the first appearance of what would become the Invisible Man theme, and the first appearance of the standard Quicksilver Vision (simply solarized black and white with trails at the edges).
