Plot Overview

Opening Monologue

Everybody has hope for the perfect love. Normal people are raised to believe that there's someone out there that's your soul mate, your best friend, your lover. My dad always told me that when you find that person, "you gotta nail her!"

How do you attract the woman you love? In the wild, the peacock spreads its beautiful, color plumage to attract his mate. In Washington, D.C., John Hinkley Jr. tried to kill a president to attract his. The lesson is, there's no one way.

A man will do anything for the right woman. And when that woman destroys him, that man will become a hunk of meat with the common sense of a rodeo clown.

The Show

Tommy's ex-girlfriend Carol is back in town, which is making Tommy insane with excitement. Titus suggests that he bump into her and make it look like an accident, then strike up the conversation from there. Tommy takes his advise a little too far and purposefully rams her car in the parking lot. But, he says it's alright because he left a note saying that "his" body shop would fix the damage for free.

Carol pulls into the garage, which immediately spurs Tommy to hide in a locker. From his position inside the locker, he explains to Titus that he can't violate the restraining order which was filed involving Tommy being naked in her room. Since the note was signed with Titus' name, he feels obligated to fix her car. He tries to save Tommy's face a bit by talking him up as a great guy, but when Carol says that he broke into her backyard and shaved his name into her dog, Dave is compelled to open the locker door and ask if he really did that. At the sight of Tommy, Carol screams and locks herself in the office.

Unsure of what to do, Titus calls Erin out of her important presentation to tell them what to do about the hostage situation. Erin is allowed into the office by Carol, but she isn't make much progress since, the three guys all look insane from every perspective. After they tie up Tommy, Carol agrees to leave, but then Erin closes the garage door again when Carol threatens to have them all sent to prison. They try to convince her that Tommy is a great guy, but she claims that he tried to rape her.

In actuality, Tommy was just an overzealous boyfriend who couldn't take a hint. She never actually broke up with him. She lets Tommy have it for a while but never actually breaks up with him for good. After she leaves and Tommy makes this point, Titus pushes him, still taped to the chair, out of the shop.
