To Say the Least was a game show that aired on NBC daytime.

The game pits two teams, each of a civilian and two celebrity team captains. Two members of each team is secluded off stage. The members on stage are shown a statement ("Where you go to have your appendix taken out") and its subsequent answer ("Hospital"). Each opposing team member now eliminates words in the phrase one at a time. Once the phrase is at a point where it is at its most difficult, the team member making a selection challenges the other team to guess the answer with the words left remaining. (If a team member leaves one word remaining, his/her teammates are challenged by default to identify the subject.) Doing so correctly wins a point. Failing to answer it correctly wins the point for the other team.

Two points wins the game and some prizes. The civilian now vies for $5000 by having all four celebrities secluded while the contestant is shown a statement and answer. All but four words are eliminated. The first celebrity comes out and makes a guess of the answer with a correct guess worth $1000. As the next celebrity comes out, a word is eliminated. All four celebrities answering correctly wins the contestant $5000.
