Information

Honda Civic Type R

Jeremy Clarkson reviews the new Honda Civic Type R.

The Stig takes the Honda Civic Type R around the test track in 1.33.5.

Alfa Romeo 159

James May gets around to reviewing the two-year-old Alfa Romeo 159. To test the 159, May races the car against a man: the man will walk 1.8 miles across the river while May will have to drive 65 miles around to the other side. Unfortunately for May, he loses.

Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

This week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Lawrence Dallaglio, an English rugby player. Lawrence Dallaglio races the Chevrolet Lacetti around the test track in 1.47.4. As Dallaglio weighs over 250 pounds, Clarkson and the Stig believe that he could have topped the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car lap board if he weighed as much as Simon Cowell.

The Station Wagon

Not so long ago, more station wagons were bought in Britain than any other nation in the world. But now everyone is buying some kind of 4x4, and Clarkson wonders why they can't go back to the station wagon. For the same sort of money you'd spend on a Porsche Cayenne or a Range Rover you could buy a BMW E61 M5 Touring or a Mercedes-Benz E-Class E63 AMG Wagon.

Motor Home Race

Richard Hammond and James May race some motor homes around a track.
