Plot Overview
Syaoran and friends arrive in a new world, and at Fai's suggestion, decide to take it easy for a bit. Sakura tells Syaoran about the memory she just got back, but once more, Syaoran's part is missing and the obvious gaps confuse her. Sakura contacts Yūko, and sends her a dress as a White Day present. Yūko is not fully satisfied however, as she expects a separate gift from everyone.
Syaoran asks Yūko about others who can travel between dimensions, and she says there are others, but it's up to him to determine if they are friend or foe. After they finish talking to Yūko, Mokona senses a feather. They track it down to a spike in the ground, but when Syaoran tries to cut the feather out with his sword, the spike turns out to be the horn of a very large dragon. Several men, including Sorata, rush up to contain the dragon, but it escapes.
They realize that they have returned to the same village where Sakura's feather lay in a temple atop a spire. At the end of that adventure Sakura made a wish that returned the lives of those villagers slain in search of her feather. Now those people are in danger of disappearing, unless they can get the feather from the dragon.
Syaoran agrees to help, and the next day they all set out in a group to catch the dragon. The villagers help with a trap that draws out the dragon, and Syaoran succeeds in cutting off its horn. They bring the horn to the god in the temple and Sakura prays, only to receive sad news — the god cannot permanently restore the lives of the villagers, even now with the feather there. Sakura's feather is restored to her.
That night, they wait in a clearing for everyone to disappear, and Sorata, who was one of the ones brought back, finds out that his wife Arashi will also disappear. The moment arrives, and the people fade away as Syaoran, Sakura — and even Fei Wang Reed — watch.
