Plot Overview

The battle between Shogo and Syaoran begins. Their Kudans strike at each other, and when a boulder almost falls on Syaoran, Masayoshi warns him and Syaoran manages to destroy the rock. Fai and Kurogane comment on his fighting ability. Syaoran fires a beam at Shogo, which actually knocks the gang leader back. Shogo returns by creating a huge wave that submerges the ground. Syaoran emerges just fine with his Kudan.

Watching this, Masayoshi thinks about how he wants to be strong like Syaoran. Just then, the castle starts to shake. Masayoshi's Kudan carries him safely off the roof, but then he sees Primera and Mokona still in danger. Vowing to be strong, he jumps down and tries to help them. The building almost falls over, then stops - Masayoshi's Kudan has grown to enormous size and is holding the castle up. Mokona announces that's the Kudan with the feather!

As the Kudan picks Masayoshi up, it reacts to the feather, firing an enormous blast. Primera and Mokona fall, but are caught by Shogo and his Kudan. The Kudan starts to walk, continuing to fire blasts. Masayoshi is telling it to stop, but it won't listen because of the feather. Syaoran goes after them on his Kudan.

Masayoshi notices the feather, and when he sees Syaoran, he points it out. Syaoran dives straight into the giant Kudan and tries to grab the feather. It hurts Masayoshi, but he tells Syaoran to take the feather anyway. Syaoran manages to pull the feather out. After a blinding light, Masayoshi and his Kudan are lying on the ground, Shogo's Kudan has created rain to put the fires out, and Syaoran is clutching Sakura's feather.

Back at the boarding house, Syaoran restores the feather to Sakura. She wakes up, but the first thing she says is, "Who are you?" Syaoran introduces himself simply by his name, tells her she is Princess Sakura, and explains that she has lost her memory and that they are traveling to get it back. Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona all introduce themselves. Syaoran goes outside.

Syaoran is still being watched from another dimension, by the mysterious man and woman. There is someone in the room with them, floating in a tank.

Everyone, including the members of both gangs, goes out to eat at the okonomiyaki place. Shogo asks Masayoshi to join his gang. Everyone gathers outside to say farewell, as Mokona casts a spell and transports the small group away. While in the void, Syaoran bids farewell to his Kudan. Sakura grabs his hand, saying she is scared. He reassures her.
