Season One of Tsubasa Chronicle premiered on April 9, 2005 in Japan on NHK. The season features the first appearances of all of the main characters. It also crosses over with ×××HOLiC, which debuted on television the following year. The show was licensed for the North American market by FUNimation Productions, with a DVD release beginning in May 2007.
