Alicia Fennel is the mother of Wallace Fennel, Veronica's best friend. A man in a Chicago restaurant recognizes Alicia, calling her Sherrie and Sherr, and pursues her hereafter.

- When Keith asks Alicia to go to Chicago with him, she is hesitant before agreeing. (2x03)
- The man who recognizes Alicia while he is sitting at a slot machine appears to be a cop. (2x03)
- When Alicia notices this man driving by her house, she tells Keith all about what really happened at the hotel in Chicago. She claims that he is an ex-boyfriend who "was crazy" and she fears he is stalking her. (2x04)
- The man's name is Carl Morgan AKA Nathan Woods (his real name). He is a decorated and highly respected Chicago detective. (2x04)
- The man who is following Alicia turns out to be (presumably) Wallace's father. (2x04)
