Season Three of Battlestar Galactica premiered on October 6, 2006.

This season noticeably has the shortest mid-season break compared to Season Two and Four, lasting barely more than a month.

During the initial U.S. airings, most of the latter half of the season ("Taking a Break from All Your Worries" through "Crossroads" part 1) were punctuated with "bonus" scenes. They were merely deleted scenes that were available on the channel's website and subsequently included on the DVD set.
