Plot Overview

As Will investigates killings done to arrange victims as "angels" in gruesome fashion, he begins to feel the weight of profiling on his own soul. This causes friction with he and Crawford who is having trouble with his own wife who won't divulge her problem to him.

Behind the Scenes

• Originally the shot of the couple were shown with their bare buttocks. NBC objected to this and so they were censored with more blood, which was approved.

Allusions and References

• Hannibal's reference to Will's aftershave being "something with a ship on the bottle" is lifted from an exchange between the two in Red Dragon.

Memorable Moments

• Jack's probing Will for answers has Jack snipe back at him. Jack's response clears the crime scene.
