Basic Information
Captain Grisham is Colonel Montoya's, right hand man.
Character History
- A corporal in the American army, wanted for fraud (Ep 1), murder of his commanding officer (Ep 16) to escape hanging for killing a 16 year old boy, which he had not done.
- Escaped when the British attacked during United States War Against Britain (1812-1815) and shies away from any publicity. (Ep 12)
- Is contemptible of Montoya, and given the opportunity, would kill him. (Ep 3)
- To spite Montoya, he refuses a chance to shoot the Queen. (Ep 11)
- Conducts an illicit affair with Vera Hidalgo who acts as his spy, but his love is tested when Colonel Montoya orders him to kill her. (Ep 22)
- Plots with an Emissary from Spain to remove Colonel Montoya and take over. (Ep 12)
- When close to dying of suffocation with The Queen, his ardour is still unrestrained and he has a chance to finally know her real identity as The Queen passes out first. (Ep 21)
