Scooby-Doo! and the Samurai Sword is the thirteenth feature in the series of made-for-DVD animated Scooby-Doo movies. It was released April 7, 2009.
In Japan, Daphne competes with her friend Miyumi at a martial arts training session, when a Black Samurai attacks the gang and steals the Destiny Scrolls. The Scrolls contain the whereabouts of a room of gold within holding a powerful sword. The Black Samurai had taken a bogus Scroll with our heroes using the real Scrolls to find the sword. Miyumi's sensai, Miss Mirimoto, had actually employed her strongarm Sojo to be the Black Samurai so the gang could lead her and Sojo to find the sword. Miss Mirimoto obtains it and uses it to summon the spirit of the actual Black Samurai.
