Everyone tries to find their role in the Commonwealth, but it's soon apparent that it's not functioning to everyone's best benefits.

Happenings

• Many of Alexandria are taking up residence in the Commonwealth while the community is being cleaned up. They are there at least 33 days, but Judith wants to stay.

• There is a clear class divide in the Commonwealth which is governed by Pamela Milton and her spoiled son. Boiling underneath is a resistant movement that don't believe the Commonwealth works for the benefit of all. We later see the party attendees signing what appears to be waivers and given money as Connie and Kelly are escorted away.

Characters

• While some are already in working positions such as Connie resuming being a reporter with Kelly being her interrupter, Daryl and Rosita try out for the Commonwealth army and later succeed to uniform.

• Ezekiel is on a list for surgery for his cancer, but Carol finds out that he's too far on the list to get it in time. She retrieves some wine that Hornsby calls a "good first step" in bumping him up. Unaware of her efforts, he shows up at her place and proposes the possibility of a fresh start.

• Rosita asks Maga about how Davis got into the serving crew. Maga denies having any idea how he got in, but Rosita is clearly suspicious.
