WEVV is the CBS affiliate for Evansville, Indiana. It broadcasts on digital channel 45. WEVV broadcasts the area's FOX programming on digital subchannel 44.2.
WEVV began broadcasting in 1983 as an independent station. In 1987, it became a Fox affiliate, then WTVW took over the Fox affiliation when WEVV switched to CBS in 1995 while WEHT became an ABC affiliate. In 2011, WEVV rejoined the Fox network for its digtal subchannel replacing MyNetworkTV while WTVW became an independent station, then in 2012, WTVW became a CW affiliate. On August 3, 2015, the station launched a newscast.
