Scooby Doo: Happy Halloween is the thirty-second feature in the long running series of DVD animated movies of Scooby-Doo.
Halloween is Shaggy and Scooby's favorite holiday, mainly for the candy. But when a neighborhood pumpkin patch is infected by a toxic ooze by the Scarecrow (from Batman), flying jack-o'lanterns and a monster pumpkin head come to life and ruin everything. With help from special guests Bill Nye the Science Guy and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, the Mystery Inc. gang go out to solve this mystery.
Writer and director Maxwell Atoms had used Scooby Doo once before in an episode of his own show The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. In "Keeper Of the Reaper," Scooby testifies against Mandy in her legal fight with Billy as to who actually "owns" Grim.
