The TV IV:Proposals/Featured Show (January 2007)
Welcome to the January 2007 Featured Show voting. Classic rules are back:. You may feel free to nominate any show you'd like on any grounds, including past Featured Shows, but please nominate a show that has some semblance of a set of articles up. You may make one vote for a show, but you may make multiple votes opposing a show or commenting as long as they are relevant. A random list of shows is listed below as an example of how to go about doing it, but feel free to add and comment on your own. If you want to change a vote, use <strike></strike> to preserve the historical record.

- UPDATE: This show has officially been cancelled and won't be airing in January . All votes for it are annulled. --Stabbey 00:09, 16 December 2006 (EST)
- This show will be airing all through January unless ABC pulls the plug, and it needs the publicity if it's going get a second season. After I get done with the Heroes and Lost pages sometime in December, I'll see if fill in as much as I can. I still have all the episodes recorded. Although I would prefer to not have to do everything myself. --Stabbey 10:24, 1 December 2006 (EST)
- Currently, Day Break isn't on the schedule past December 27. The Knights of Prosperity and In Case of Emergency premiere in its timeslot on January 3. DCEdwards1966 | Talk 16:12, 10 December 2006 (EST)
- Yes, but its fate remains uncertain. If it's cancelled and pulled off the air then all votes to it should be annulled, of course, but if it is merely changing time slots and will continue airing... Until the show's fate is revealed, it should be treated as if it's alive. If it's cancelled and pulled I'll be the first to recind my vote. Since it's unlikely to get a second season even if it is allowed to finish it's first one, you can use your veto power and pick something else if needed. --Stabbey 20:20, 10 December 2006 (EST)

- There are not many well edited shows airing for a good chunk of January and the Extras pages while only somewhat filled out are probably the best. It even has some stuff like screen shots and complete guest star info. for upcoming episodes that other shows don't have since it already aired in the UK. The show was nominated for multiple Ivy awards so I know it's fairly popular among editors of this site. Plus since it only has a six episode season it's basically only airing in January so this is its only chance at being featured. --The-jam 12:43, 14 December 2006 (EST)
- Good enough for me. I've never seen this show, and probably never will, but Day Break isn't filled in at all, and I don't think I'll have the time to do it myself. Also, there are other reasons not to vote for Day Break, as good as the show is. --Stabbey 19:41, 14 December 2006 (EST)
- Not only am I adding my vote for this as featured show, I'm doing a happy dance because you guys just told me when S2 of this show will be airing in the US. -- JCaesartalk 20:51, 14 December 2006 (EST)
- Yeah, not as much faith in Day Break continuing as before. --Tv's emory 22:10, 14 December 2006 (EST)

This show has paid its dues. It deserves to be featured. This show was (and still is) a major show which shaped (and still shapes) television, especially American Television.--Sportman 00:06, 24 December 2006 (EST)

Not nearly as good as Rugrats but still can please, especially fans wanting to see what has become of their favorite Rugrats. The show is placed ten years after Rugrats took place. All of the Rugrats are growing up experiencing new things. Many plots are (somewhat) based on reality. For example, in one episode Chuckie is worried about his sister getting in with the wrong crowd, and another we see Angelica worrying to much about being popular and hurting dear friends in the process. All of the characters are more complex than in the show Rugrats which allows for a more interesting story. Please consider this show.--Sportman 00:18, 24 December 2006 (EST)

- Thanks to whoever nominated it, but since it comes back 22 days into the month, I don't think it'll work best as a featured show in January. That's why it wasn't on this page. Vote for it in February instead. --Stabbey 12:12, 31 December 2006 (EST)
