The TV IV:Featured Show Nominations (April 2007)
From The TV IV
|
Welcome to the April 2007 Featured Show Voting. Classic rules are back; you may feel free to nominate any show you'd like on any grounds, including past Featured Shows, but please nominate a show that has some semblance of a set of articles up. You may make one vote for a show, but you may make multiple votes opposing a show or commenting as long as they are relevant. A random list of shows is listed below as an example of how to go about doing it, but feel free to add and comment on your own. If you want to change a vote, use <strike></strike> to preserve the historical record.

- I'll come back to nominate this for May, but don't think it'll work for April. --Tv's emory 23:37, 7 March 2007 (EST)

- A cult show and IndieRockLance has filled out the pages. I don't know what would be the best time to feature such an oldie, but preferably sometime before the remake hits the air (early 2008?). —Naddy 16:04, 1 March 2007 (EST)
- Personally, I would hold off on featuring it until it either starts airing again or at least until there's a concrete date for when it will start airing again. I would like to see it featured sometime considering how much work I put into it, but since the DVDs are so ungodly expensive, I think it'd be better to keep it until more people can see the show. --IndieRockLance 19:16, 1 March 2007 (EST)
- FYI: The original will be airing on BBC America weekdays at 4PM starting March 12. DCEdwards1966 | Talk 16:14, 7 March 2007 (EST)

- There's going to be a lot of interest in Buffy next month due to the debut of the canon season eight comic series. If there's nothing else that's happening in April, then it might be a good idea to bring up an older series. --IndieRockLance 19:16, 1 March 2007 (EST)
- I think that out of all the defunct shows, Buffy has the highest percentage of high-quality articles. Hell, I think that aside from Lost, but does have the highest percentage of high-quality articles. The comics are being paraded out soon, and I think this is a great time to pay attention to it. We can save a big-hitting series for the May sweeps spot.
- Voting, but I hope someone can answer my question. How does the Show Spotlight get picked? I have a suggestion for a show that some might not consider worthy of a featured spot because it's not on the air, but the page is very well developed. --Tv's emory 14:57, 7 March 2007 (EST)
- Right now it's basically whatever show a sys-op feels warrants it and is willing to write a blurb on. I created a page so people can suggest shows here, The TV IV:Show Spotlight Suggestions. --The-jam 15:26, 7 March 2007 (EST)
