The X-Files is a science fiction-based show about two FBI agents who investigate cases with a paranormal edge. Over nine seasons Agents Mulder and Scully tackled alien invasions, serial killers, liver eating mutants and all manner of odd creatures. During its original run, it spawned a feature film, two video games and a spin-off show, The Lone Gunmen. In 2008 a second feature film premiered, and in 2015 it was announced that a 6-part revival miniseries had been ordered.
